The Connecticut Cemetery Association is only statewide organization dedicated to providing educational resources and networking opportunities for the operation, maintenance, and preservation of CT's beautiful cemeteries, and we were honored to work with them on a new website and brand identity. The new brand is meant to celebrate the history and preserve the future of our state's cemeteries. For the logo, the traditional iron gate acts as an open door for current and new members to network and share resources in the operation and maintenance of cemeteries, and represents the CCA as "gatekeepers" of important industry information. The type was carefully selected from a handful of Roman letters that are often carved into New England headstones. And the system is literally brought to life with the beautiful CT landscapes, rock walls, tombstones, and flowers as seen through the introspective lens of Annalise Sheridan.
