The Walk in Their Shoes network was developed by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut for participants to challenge assumptions about race and culture in America, have meaningful conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and enable individuals to discover their unique journey to anti-racism. We worked directly with the Executive Director, Lisa Scails, to create a design system that visually represents a path towards clarity and understanding, but is also indicative of the tension between information, practice, and sustainable action.
