This post is for all you botanists out there. Did you know that the CT State Flower is the Mountain Laurel? Yup, they decided that back in 1907. Straight out of the Connecticut State Register & Manual, "...the Mountain Laurel is perhaps the most beautiful of native American shrubs. Its fragrance and the massed richness of its white and pink blossoms so vividly contrast with the darker colors of the forests and the fields that they have continually attracted the attention of travelers since the earliest days of our colonization." Since branding is what we do, here's a logo system for our beautiful state flower.
